Created with Unity3D
Touch controls, and game logic for StackCatto were prototyped and iterated on extensively during development. Placement of UI elements was a direct result of observation and user feedback. The final player experience is one that is intuitive and something that players are able to just pick up and play.
All contents of StackCatto's in-game shop are all parsed from data tables and built to display according to artist design specifications. Data for the shop included asset references, purchase contents, price, currency type, etc.
Each of the cats that are un-lockable are also built using the same data structure.
Development Screenshots
A large chunk of development time went towards refining the core game-loop. Once a basic fundamental core was built, each new iteration had been built after a round of tester feedback.
